Combining fast and reliable broadband with great value.
TalkTalk Broadband are one of the top providers in the broadband industry, offering customers fast and reliable broadband at a great value.
They are aimed squarely at the budget-conscious customer, offering full-fibre broadband at a reasonable price. They may not be the cheapest provider on the market anymore, but they still aim to be a ‘budget’ provider and offer a wide range of packages and speeds at a great price.
TalkTalk Broadband admittedly doesn’t stand out in any category, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good. They still perform excellently across the board which makes them one of the leaders in the UK.
As we said before, TalkTalk Broadband offers a great service that properly rivals their competitors. Here are a couple of reasons why you should choose TalkTalk Broadband:
TalkTalk Broadband offers a range of packages, going from standard broadband, fibre broadband, and now up to full-fibre broadband, with prices starting from £28 a month.
There is an upfront cost with their packages which range from £4.95 - £15, and some packages may also come with a postage and packaging cost which is capped at £9.95.
TalkTalk also states in their small print that the monthly price of your plan will increase each year from April 2024 by the rate of inflation.
This is opposed to some other providers who promise that the price of your plan will stay the same from when you purchase it to when the contract is over.
TalkTalk has five different speed offerings available as well as packages that include TalkTalk TV and Netflix.
These packages are available to purchase on Broadband Finder, where we also display various deals.

*Fibre 65 is available as standard fibre or full fibre, depending on availability in your area of full-fibre. The cost per month is the same; however, the speed is slightly higher on full-fibre.
TalkTalk offers more than just broadband. TalkTalk TV offers live television and video on demand.
You get a TV box that has 70 Freeview channels installed and you can add other services such as Netflix and NOW.
As detailed above, you can get a broadband and TV package bundled together, and some packages also come with a Netflix subscription, providing you with a lot of content for your money.
Line rental is also included in the price and is needed for the fibre options. You can also go with a broadband-only option and opt for a TalkTalk calls package to be added on.
TalkTalk has two different broadband routers depending on what package you have chosen.
TalkTalk WiFi Hub
This hub is used for the superfast broadband package - that’s Fibre 35 and Fibre 65. It is a good router with decent signal strength and comes with an integrated firewall as well as five gigabit ethernet ports.
Amazon Eero 6
The Amazon Eero 6 is available exclusively in the Full Fibre 150 package. It’s advertised as a new era of home networking, providing a strong and reliable signal throughout your home.
It features WiFi 6, the very best you can currently get, and comes with a mesh repeater and smart home features.
Amazon Eero Pro 6
Saved for the to-of-the-range packages, the Amazon Eero Pro 6 is one of the best routers available today.
It boasts tri-band WiFi, which provides an incredibly strong signal throughout your household, and comes with two mesh repeaters, to really help keep the connection solid in every room.
Installation
If you already have a broadband line your house or a router already connected, then installing your new router is easy. Just simply unplug the old one and replace it with the new one.
However, if you have just moved and you need a new line installed or the previous line upgraded, you will need to call an engineer out to set it all up and install it for you. This comes at a cost of £60.
If you’re looking to talk to someone about TalkTalk’s Broadband, whether that be for more information about packages available to you or anything else, we have a handy number you can call that will take you to a TalkTalk Broadband expert.
0333 188 9318 is the number you want to call if you have any questions or queries about TalkTalk Broadband.
As we said earlier, TalkTalk Broadband doesn’t do anything revolutionary to the industry. But that is not a negative in the slightest.
What they provide is a fantastic value for service, offering a good range of packages that are priced fairly.
They lay it out there, telling you what you will pay and when, so you don’t get blindsided at any point.
The routers provided with the full-fibre packages are especially a stand-out, while their TV offerings are a great touch to be bundled with the broadband.
